This kitchen belongs to a young couple in Berkley, Michigan who own an older home and want to update the kitchen. The original hardwood floors were refinished and custom maple cabinets finished in white were installed with a small L-shaped peninsula. The farmhouse sink, framed by the the stone counter top, added a special charm and function to the space. An original built-in wall cabinet was kept and made into a feature wall by lining it with rustic woods and sandblasting the glass by a local artist to replicate the horizontal lines. The dining room table was custom made by The Detroit Woodshop.
