This 1935 Mediterranean revival house hadn’t been renovated since it was built. It was full of original details and character, but its layout wasn’t efficient and it needed updating.

For this renovation, we focused on creating a modern, warm space that reflected the house’s history, but updated it to take it into a new era. By carefully retaining aspects of the house’s original details, like the arches, courtyard, curved hallway, and antique doors we were able to pay tribute to the past while still looking forward to the future.
