A traditional New England style home was remodeled to resemble a farm house. A wrap around porch was added to provide extra living space. James Hardie siding was installed to provide style, durability, and energy efficiency. All of the homes windows and shutters were replaced with wood Trimline windows to provide a rustic look. Four different colors were used in the exterior to make a dramatic statement. As for the interior, a basement garage was dug out, allowing for the existing garage to be transformed into an open family room with vaulted ceilings. The kitchen was torn apart, removing an existing wall. New Diamond cabinets with a distressed look along with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances were installed. An island with white distressed cabinets was built to provide an informal eating space. Palladium windows without grids were installed in the third level family room to provide extra warmth and light.
