This brick cape cod, nestled in a wooded neighborhood, needed an update to accommodate the lifestyle of these empty nesters. The kitchen and adjacent spaces were reconfigured to create an open plan that allows natural light to permeate all new areas. The master bathroom was also updated to create a larger shower and a bath with two sinks. The renovated master bathroom included a sliding mirror that acts as a window treatment at night and open during the day to allow natural light into bath. This aging in place design, includes a flush threshold at the shower for easy access as well as plenty of storage.
