Our 200 SF Boathouse project was constructed in the winter and spring of 2022. A simple structure with a shed roof and two garage style door openings with metal roof and a small concrete patio. Use of a pin piling foundation with deeply anchored concrete retaining walls firmly anchors the structure.

Project complications were the high bank location with logistical access challenges. A large crane was used to lower a small excavator over the existing house and then down to the project location to perform the site work. The crane also lowered lumber and most of the construction materials. Beach access stairs had previously been installed prior to the boathouse construction.
