This homeowner called and was looking for a low-maintenance and a low-water using design. She was getting ready to retire and wanted to use her time traveling, playing in the foothills and not on yard work. This design utilizes many drought tolerant plants and materials that are native to the Boise area; achieving the look and feel of Boise's high desert vernacular.
