A remodeling and addition to a 1960’s split level house creates a high ceiling in the Great Room connecting to an outdoor terrace through a pair of glass pocket doors. Large expanses of glass allow the nearby mountains to be visible from most interior spaces. The new roof allows for solar electric panels and solar pool water heating panels to occupy the entire building footprint.
