This is one side of a his-and-hers. The cabinets are raised panel with rope molding inserts. The mirror casements were built in place, and then finished to match the oil rubbed bronze faucets.

This is a his-and-hers. We took this picture to show both sides. We chose to have them match, rather than be mirror images. The floors were honed to a satin finish, then the polished black squares were installed.

This is a closer photo of the cabinet lacquer work. This finish is not done with oil-glaze, but with lacquer. Different layers of oil-tint are rubbed on using mineral spirits as a vehicle. Each layer is locked (or melted.....to be more accurate) in with another coat of lacquer. This one had just 2...

This photo is showing the mirror frame finished to match the oil rubbed bronze faucet. The mirror casement is a built in place frame involving 3 pieces. The finish is lacquer, involving some metallic powders.

The highly burnished venetian plaster works well with the granite counters and marble floors. The lacquer cabinet finish has multiple layers of laccquer and overglaze,..followed by final coats of clear lacquer.
