The floor lamp – designed by Nicola Gerosa – is inspired by rice-pickers, harvests in the fields and sheaves of straw, which are depicted in its shape and name. It’s made of recycled honeycomb cardboard and, thanks to a series of “joints”, can be assembled without the use of glue. Like a sheaf tied in the centre by a piece of string, both the slender shape, tapered in the centre, and the cardboard slats, arranged in a “sun ray” formation, highlight the lamp’s verticality. Illuminated with low consuming LEDs, Bouquet encompasses ecology, design and the poetry of light.

Si ispira alle mondine, ai raccolti nei campi, ai fasci di paglia richiamati nella forma e nel nome dell’oggetto. La lampada da terra - progettata da Nicola Gerosa - è realizzata con cartone riciclato grazie a un sistema di “incastri” che ne permette l’assemblaggio senza l’uso di colla. Come un fascio legato al centro con uno spago, la forma slanciata e rastremata al centro esalta la verticalità della lampada anche grazie alle lamelle in cartone disposte a “raggiera”. Illuminata con lampada a LED a basso consumo, Bouquet racchiude in sé ecologia, design e poesia luminosa.
