For this South Florida residence, we installed a unique product in the bedroom. It is a hybrid of laminate and vinyl, custom made to look like a hardwood floor. Hybrid is manufactured by fusing a highly durable resilient top layer with a high-density fiberboard. With no adhesives required, Hybrid is easy to install with its drop and lock system. In this master bathroom, we installed high-end, rectified, anti-slip porcelain tile on the bathroom floor, as well as porcelain plank tile throughout the shower floor and walls. We built up the marble shower curb, installed the shower pan, and were careful to slope the shower floor tile to ensure the water flows downward to the drain.
