Wonderful clients had a big project to take their home designed by a famous architect from the 1960's, into the transitional mid century feel and the modern family plan. We improved the laundry room by opening up the door way and added a Barista bar as the shared space. Then we took the opening into the dining area and made it bigger so the cook can engage with his guests as they serve. We took out an awkward peninsula and gave them an island. We added a liquor bar for serving and integrated the microwave into an usable closet.
