BRIDLEMILE MIDCENTURY
Built in 1954 by Herman A. Schmitt, and conceived by Architect Don Byers and Designer Harry B. Boland as the “General Electric Home”, this modern marvel showcased several state-of-the-art features for its time. While several of the technological elements were updated, our directive was to showcase and reference all the exceptional era-classic features, such as the central circular brick fireplace, interior brick planters, mahogany panel walls, indirect lighting soffits, glass block, and waffle glass, to name a few.
