If we could describe this Bloomington master bath in one word, it would be refreshing. The entire room feels like a breath of fresh air - a peaceful retreat to start and end each day. The original layout already included its fair share of spa-style (it had a built-in whirlpool tub, after all). However, the homeowners decided it was time to give the room a facelift and a few upgrades.

We swapped the whirlpool bath with a more accessible and on-trend pedestal tub. Next, we expanded and completely re-tiled the shower. The new shower is spacious and bright with the clean white tile and clear glass pivot door; it's also trendier now but remains classically sophisticated.

Besides the shower and bathtub changes, we also re-tiled the entire floor and added luxurious in-floor heat for those cold Minnesota mornings! We replaced the vanity with white painted cabinets and a stunning Carerra marble countertop. Last but not least, the old toilet was swapped out for a comfort height model.
