This project involved a major renovation of a single-story ranch home in the Lavista Park area of Atlanta. The owners needed two bedrooms and two baths added to the second floor but didn't want to overwhelm the site with a full second floor addition so we tucked the majority of the space within the roof. Dormers on the front and back provide the headroom needed for the bedrooms and baths while a gable provides room for the stairs and a small office/loft area used for gaming. One the lower floor, two bedrooms were combined into a large master suite with new bath and walk-in closet.
