We took a nice kitchen with an unused dining room behind it and opened up the space to make a lovely, bright new space.

After removing the wall between the dining room and the kitchen, we re-oriented the island, added brand new cabinets, counters, brick wall, and wood floors. We were able to reuse many of the existing appliances and added a few new ones.

We got rid of the clunky exterior stone featured on the old island and instead added this brick accent to add some material depth to the project.

We cut down and rotated the island, removed the wall with the ovens and microwave to open up the space.
