This home is off the grid, way out in the hills. Besides preparing the drawings for this post and beam hillside home, I ran the construction crew and worked as a carpenter. Except for the entry doors, all the wood used in the house was felled, milled and prepared on the site. The original house, shown in the photos, was 1,200 sf. The homestead was sold several years later and the new owners hired me to design a two story addition on the uphill side (see the last 3 drawings). Sorry, I never got around to photographing the addition.
