A lot of preparations came into play in planning this project. We knew we had to keep within the budget and we used our creativity to make it happen. Example... we found this awesome, used, coffee table, although it was the right size and the right height it wasn't the right color. With little or no effort the client was able to do a light sanding and paint the coffee table with the right color. We reupholstered the existing love seat and sofa with a gorgeous, navy blue chenille, fabric that I found on sale and had my expert upholster recover the sofa and love seat. The arms on love seat and sofa were too heavy with too much padding and I redesigned the arms for a more contemporary look. We didn't have to do much to the fireplace, just removed the mantel from the wall and painted the old red bricks surrounding the fireplace opening and the hearth with white gloss paint, which gave the fireplace a contemporary look. The rug is a custom size and poly blend, which makes it easy to clean.
With the help of a competent designer, you can keep within your budget and have a functional, organized, and beautiful space. A space you have always dreamed of and much more!
