Butterfly House

Nestled into its own meadow just beyond a cluster of oaks, this home is comprised of three separate pavilions that rest lightly, like a butterfly, on the landscape. Two of the pavilions are attached by a floating bridge spanning a constructed bio swale that drains the upper part of the site - beauty and function. The total square footage is modest and the home harvests rainwater to mitigate its footprint on local water supplies.
