See the transformation from my recent design project from a kids playroom to an upscale tween baseball themed game/tv room. Michelle contacted me wanting to surprise her kids by transforming the boys playroom into a more mature space for them to enjoy this Summer! We started with a consultation to see what the kids liked, and it was unanimous that baseball just had to be the theme! We then had some painting done on the walls to brighten up the room. I added more white tones by repainting her storage table and ordering the perfect tv console to match the new design theme. A new rug and storage couch were added to the room with cute baseball accented pillows. Adding storage and organization was important to Michelle, so we sorted the books and toys and added the kids baseball memorabilia, equipment, awards and collectables to display accordingly. When coming up with the room layout I wanted to make it cozy but functional! The layout features a relaxing media area to watch tv, an art station for creativity and music area to practice the piano. Other features were the baseball scoreboard and personalized pennant signs.
