Here my partner Jon and I lifted a portion of my family cabin's roof in order to give more space and light to a loft. We had only 2 weeks and we added 2" of extruded polystyrene and a metal roof as well so we had to do the bump up quick. I came up with the idea of cutting the roof decking and lifting it up and I followed my architects recommendation of a ridge beam in the lofted area.. Finish project photos hopefully this summer!
