Client had 28 year old solid cherry, custom cabinet in immaculate condition. 80's style desk and top cabinet dated the kitchen after new counters, backsplash and hardware were updated. I designed the new cabinets to blend perfectly with the rich wood. Since the top cabinets also held a micro/convention oven, the bottom cabinets had to have a greater depth and substance to balance the top. Quartzite counters were used throughout kitchen.
