Calera Creek
Located in Milpitas, Calera Creek is a prime showcase of our expertise in custom family homes and innovative structural engineering.
Covering 8,029 sq ft, this contemporary design with a mix of steel and wood framing, features a 2-story residence, expansive open floor plan, a serene detached recreational haven, a 3-car garage with a covered carport – all linked by a protective trellis. Adapting to varying terrains, we employed distinct foundation systems for each structure.
Our portfolio boasts over four dozen successful trellis, canopy, and porch projects, each seamlessly blending form and function. This project includes a 20’x45’ steel carport trellis, elegantly poised over a pier and grade beam foundation. We strategically tackled complexity with a unique retaining wall pier and grade beam system, employing a deadman tieback strategy. Our design fuses steel and wood framing, achieving an open yet harmonious aesthetic. Collaborating closely with ODS Architecture, we ensured meticulous integration.
Architectural cohesion is exemplified by a steel trellis system, uniting the buildings visually and structurally. Our expertise shines through spread footing and pier and grade beams foundation, skillfully navigating the challenging hillside.
