This kitchen is part of a newly built house done in a California "Cape Cod" style. The kitchen is open to the adjacent family room. Brookhaven brand cabinets were selected in an inset door style in a navy painted finish. The wall cabinets were stacked to line up with the cabinet above the hood. The tall cabinets were built extra high. An oversized crown moulding keeps in proportion with the tall ceiling. The island provides seating, as well as housing a microwave and under counter wine cooler.
