Pewter has a century old tradition throughout the world. In this case this candle holder was casted by artisans in Northern Thailand in hand carved molds and then polished. Pewter while slightly less precious than sterling has the advantage of not tarnishing.

This lantern is intricately hand-woven from Rattan into the rather unusual discus shape while maintaining a classic look thanks to the finishing details. Once the candle is lit, its light casts an interesting geometrical shadow. The lantern is suited for indoor as well as outdoor use.
