Casement windows
Casement are traditional windows found primarily in Great Britain, Ireland and the Netherlands. Thanks to the opening outside, they are perfect for harsh weather conditions, when the wind additionally presses the casement against the frame. The user also has great arrangement possibilities around the window space.
The characteristic feature of this profile is the frame surface flushed with the casement surface and the designing of the inner frame and glazing bead in the traditional ‘ovolo’ shape.
It is possible to produce a casement window in the "Retro" version. Such a window is characterised by a narrow casement profile and single glazing from the outside. In this solution it is possible to make narrow 25mm structural Georgian bars.
As in other profiles, fittings and glass can be modified and supplemented, which affects the comfort of use and increases the window's acoustic properties.
