The Castro Valley Veteran's Memorial is the San Francisco Bay Area’s latest memorial site, and serves as a tribute to our nation’s veterans from all branches of our military and a reminder of the sacrifices they made to ensure our freedom. Officially dedicated on Veteran’s Day in 2012 at the Castro Valley Community Park, this memorial has stood tall for nearly a decade, and it took all of three years to convert what was previously an empty space in the center of Castro Valley into something much more meaningful.

When it comes to the materials used to construct the Memorial, it’s made entirely from concrete and granite. The colors used for each logo are the exact same colors used by each branch. On the back of each granite stone are the names of veterans that served in that respective branch.

Bay Area Cable Railing was hired to install the steel cable railings surrounding the memorial site. Steel cable railing was chosen for its durability and polished, modern look.
