Remodeling the Kitchen of a Busy Family of Mr. Patel has been a very rewarding process. We changed the layout by moving the Refrigerator to the end and taking out the Wall Oven and Microwave to the Base Cabinet and Slide in Oven Cooktop... This gave the family more Countertop Workspace. We also defined the window opening in the kitchen. Taking off the false Ceiling and Raising the Ceiling Height by a Foot gave the space a feeling of openness. Creating a Bay Window Seating and adding a Mid Century Modern Dining Table made it a favorite hangout space for kids for snack or HW time. Taking out the Brick style Fireplace with Travertine Tiles made the space look more Contemporary. We saved the Floating Shelve . Recessed lighting and new Chandelier and Flush Mounts helped define the space. New Window treatments and Hardwood flooring throughout the home certainly pulled the whole space together.
