This exterior restoration project focused on repairing and preserving the home’s original cedar architectural elements. Carpenter bee damage was repaired using reinforced 1/2-inch hardwood dowel rod restoration techniques to restore structural integrity and create a long-lasting repair. Weathered cedar shutters and window lintels were then cleaned, prepared, sanded, sealed, and refinished to revive the natural character of the wood while improving long-term durability and appearance.
