Small updates to this kitchen made a big difference. It was important for our client to gain functionality with this remodel. With a simple design we were able to move the microwave up off the countertops and into the wall, enclosed—along with the refrigerator—by custom cabinets. The original island was dark and lacking in storage space. We updated the island to make it more functional and cohesive in the space. A subway tile backsplash, with darker grout to make it pop, lines the entire kitchen. Some minor painting around the window, new countertops, and fresh new lights above the island made this kitchen refresh complete.
