Sandra Oster Interiors designed this art collector's penthouse. The focus of the design was to keep their decor very quiet and minimalist so the art becomes the star of the home. The stark surroundings serve as a blank canvas in order to showcase the large collection of art and sculpture. The idea is to frequently rotate the collection, so my job is to keep the decor accommodating, luxurious and interesting without competing.

As you enter the space, you are immediately greeted by a mirage of eye popping artwork and you continue on a colorful journey from room-to-room.

And as you can see, the space is all about focusing on the panoramic view and the gallery of art. The space flows with clean finishes and low lines; texture becomes the pattern and luxurious quality is paramount. The eye is not distracted by the decor, it is left to wander freely and without obstruction.
