Ceramic bas relief wall tile. This tiles were made from 2 slabs of clay. The design was cut out from the top with the X-Acto knife. I made a mold from the original tile and cast the tile using earthenware slip. The tiles were glazed with underglazes and fired in the electric kiln to the temperature about 1900 F. Tile includes a hanging wire on the back.
