A blank slate ! Charlotte and Scott's property was originally attached to a large organic farm. Charlotte was clear - she didnt want to create living areas that looked overtly 'landscapey' . Right up our alley! All we needed to do was add elevations (swales , berms, etc) , surround these with many tons of fitted drystack stone work, and as many mature natives as money could buy:-) - In other words , make our best effort to create a natural extension of the Hudson Valley!
