Cherry Tudor Finished Basement

This project required the basement of this 1920's Tudor to be excavated, foundations underpinned, allowing 2' to be added to the ceiling height. We worked with our client, an artist and art director, for a year to achieve the overall style of the spaces which include Storage, a Second Kitchen for entertaining with a Brick ceiling, an Art Room that turns into a Large Dining Room with a 8' tall Plaster Fireplace surround. All mechanicals were relocated and or replaced. Interior posts were relocated and replaced to achieve the layout. The Spaces also include a new Powder room, China Storage Room, Hidden Laundry appliances. Many antique light fixtures and furnishings cover the walls. This project was built by the former Bartelt-Filo Remodeling firm.
