This home was built in the 50's. The interior walls were cinder blocks with plaster. The so called insulation was simply an air gap between the interior block walls and the exterior brick walls. The original owners owned a local oil company...need I say more. The current owners were totally on board with bringing the house up to current energy standards and then some. Insulated and re-framed this beautiful "forever home" was the result of a close collaboration with the client who knew what they wanted and had terrific taste. It costs practically nothing to heat had features led lights and a sun tube in the master bath.
