This bathroom renovation was at the tail end of an unusual triangular rowhome property. The color palette inspiration for this design can from two vintage nautical paintings that the client had acquired from a colleague. Mediterranean blue wall tile was paired with Italian off-white terrazzo-look floor tile. Selected fixtures were polished nickel. Translucent film was applied to existing windows in order to provide privacy from the neighboring residence. A custom radiator cover was fabricated with horizontal slats painted white and a satin gloss wood top for vintage accessories. Nautical references are made with the curved edges of the floating white vanity and mirror.
