This room started out very tradition and felt very disconnected from the more contemporary kitchen adjacent to the space.

My client wanted help transitioning the space to read more transitional to create a better flow from the kitchen into the step down family room.

The couple wanted to incorporate their existing rug and sofa into the design and tone down the red in the space.

To do this I brought out the navy in the rug in ottomans and pillows.
