The client requested to have the mood of the “Paris Ritz Carlton” not spending a fortune, so the use of a shiny “silk look-alike fabric” was one of the clues to give it a rich look, we used over 40 yards in the living room only as a lining of the Middle eastern silk the client brought from her recent travels there.

The concept of layers, transparencies, fringe, and tone on tone was the inspiration for this room. Long swags with jabots and overlap on top of the stationary panels, embroidered sheers, and motorized blackout rollers make this room the romantic yet elegant look the owner desired. The custom-made bedding was done in soft teal with gold to coordinate with the neutral palette of the window treatment.
