Classic with a Drummer Boy Twist

A gable roof defines the dining area while the shed roof with flat beadboard ceiling creates the cozy sitting area with gas fireplace. Add a radiant heater, some comfy chairs and you can stay out here just about year round!

Cypress tongue & groove flooring; gas ventless firepalce, timber mantel (hollowed out to allow for TV components to be hidden); white washed beadboard ceiling, boxed columns - all components that make a great screened living room.

The two ceilings are visible in this picture. We created a dining room under the vaulted gable roof ceiling and and the sitting area under the flat ceiling. Note the gas ventless fireplace has no chimney - so we tucked the stone under the overhang.

This porch has a gable roof over the dining room and a flat roof over the seating area. The upstairs windows dictated the roof lines and we made the roof lines work for us. By having 2 different ceilings, the porch becomes a 2 room space which fits the furniture needs perfectly.
