Classically Updated Remodel (Houston, TX)

This house in Houston was completely transformed when the entire thing was remodeled. It was old, structurally unsound and dated in appearance. Though it was in rough shape we could see the potential. Together with the homeowners we established a design plan and set out to turn this house into a gem. Now the homeowners enjoy a beautiful home and we couldn't be more pleased with how this remodel turned out.

In this whole house remodel, the kitchen was opened up by removing the wall between the breakfast room and the kitchen. Windows replaced the upper cabinets on the outside wall and a built-in banquette created the perfect breakfast nook.

For this kitchen remodel the homeowners wanted a space that would accommodate their large family when entertaining. Both the cabinets and the island were constructed to look like furniture but the cabinets are white and the island is blue.

The original layout of this house had this area broken into three separate rooms. By removing the walls and creating a larger opening into one room, the homeowners now have a space that is open and flows from one area to the next.

Walls were removed and recessed lights were added to brighten up the space from the front door, along the dining room, all the way to the kitchen at the back of the house. This remodel changed the entire footprint of the home and now it functions perfectly for the homeowners.

In this remodel project the master bedroom was reconfigured, the ceiling was raised, and french doors with access to an outside patio were added.

With the addition of new french doors we were able to increase the natural light in this master bedroom remodel. As well, recessed lights were strategically placed to create drama and warm up the once dark room.

This master bathroom was less than impressive before the remodel. Now it is a light, bright, luxurious spa like retreat. The soft colors in a monochromatic scheme are calm and relaxing.

The curbless shower with it's glass enclosure is designed to accommodate these homeowners throughout the years to come. With the vertical tile design and multiple shower heads, it is very sheik as well.

For this whole house remodel a large upstairs bedroom in this older home was redesigned so that it could be used as a small family/television room. A wall was removed and access to a central bathroom was added.

When this bathroom was remodeled a furniture style cabinet replaced the old outdated vanity. The rustic wood and black granite countertop with an under mount sink, along with the oil rubbed bronze sconces give this bathroom a unique appearance.

This guest bathroom was given a facelift with a fresh coat of paint on the walls and the cabinets, new tile on the floor, new plumbing fixtures and access to the upstairs family room was created by adding a door opposite the original.
