Cliffside Farmhouse
The exterior of the home stays true to the modern farmhouse style with white board and batten siding, black windows and doors, and a dark metal roof. Windows and doors are multi-paned to add to the farmhouse vibe. A paneled ceiling on the front and back porch, painted in a pale gray to add a little interest and contrast to all of the white. Oversized concrete pavers with grass in between as a front sidewalk. A light-toned wood deck adds warmth to the black and white exterior, and faux gas lanterns add so much charm.
The interior of the home continues with the modern farmhouse style, while also adding a few unique elements to make it truly feel one of a kind. A white oak wood floor throughout the home, with white penny round tile in the master bath and a hex tile in the other bathrooms. To keep the space light and bright, white walls and trim along with a pop of drama with a black shiplap fireplace surround with flanking wood floating shelves. To make the white shiplap pop, and to counteract the fireplace, black cabinets with a marble-look waterfall island in the kitchen. Mixing metals adds to the custom feel using antiqued brass hardware and a matte black faucet in the kitchen.
