The Designer's Home is ideally situatied on the Intracoastal Waterway. The windows have purposely been left bare to allow the sunlight to stream through, and to allow an unobstructed view of the Matanzas River.
Coastal Chic
Every member of the family, even the four legged ones, can comfortably enjoy all of the furnishings selected for this project, as they are all easily maintained and cleaned for years of enjoyment. This is Pita, a rescue chihuahua who looks very cozy indeed!

The Designer in the open entry foyer with custom Sea Urchin Marble and Iron Hall Tables. Framed intaglios are hung above each other, and white washed deer antlers provide a slight imbalance to the symmetrical pairing.

A reverse view of the living room featuring an oversized abstract painting and a reclaimed wood mirrored sideboard. An oversized sisal rug grounds the furniture grouping, while lending a more casual air to the dramatic room.

An oversized trestle table with a smoky glaze comfortably seats 10 in the large space overlooking the water. Washable linen slipcovered chairs are tied with a length of jute rope as a nod to the nautical location of the home.

Ivory cabinetry is complemented by dramatic gray and cream granite on the 10' kitchen island. Rattan barstools have been painted glossy gray and slipcovered with orange Sunbrella fabric for a punch of color.

An array of objects and books are arranged on a faux fur ottoman with a stainless steel base. Neutral furnishings are livened up with a pop of orange in pillows and accessories. A white sofa is nothing to fear...the Revolution fabric can be cleaned with bleach and water.
