Coastal Cottage Bathroom

The client wanted to update the bathroom in their 1940s home. We created a refreshed aesthetic that stays true to the era by pairing modern accents with enduring elements – a vintage pivot mirror, subway and hexagon tile, marble countertop, shaker cabinets and styles of fixtures that rose to prominence in the ‘40s.
The neutral color palette ensures the look is timeless. Since this space needed to accommodate parents and two children, we created two niches in the shower, one at adult height and one at child height.
