The homeowners lived in this home less than 2 years and were looking to freshen and lighten, brighten up the space. The home although open with lots of architectural details, the space appeared dark and monotone with lots of grey. We added beadboard to the coffer and painted it white to draw the eye upward (the coffer was painted the same color as the walls which made it feel very heavy), lots of texture, color and accessories.
