Coastal Rustic Basement

Our clients brought us in to redesign their very large basement. Their goals were to make it more reflective of their taste, make it more cohesive with the rest of their home, and to improve the function for their young family.

We redesigned the wet bar, the bathroom, the hearth room, a lounge space, guest bedroom, and kids nook. Now, there is better accommodations for their guests, better flow with the outdoor pool and bar, and improved comfort for their family.

It was a pleasure working with this beautiful family and these talented contractors.

Redesigning the bar improves the flow with the rest of the basement allowing for easy access in and out of the bar. This beautiful table was custom made from reclaimed wood and serves as a buffet space, game table, dining table, or a spot to sit and have a drink.

The existing bar offered plenty of seating but was closed off to the rest of the space discouraging this young family from using the space. The materials were in need of an update and they also got an upgrade.
