Every house eventually needs a refresh and this home was no exception. The client purchased a 90's era house that lacked the coastal/beach aesthetic they desired in their vacation home. Wanting to avoid a total home renovation, the client reached out to Collected Spaces to help them select and design architectural elements and new millwork to create that coastal vibe. To achieve the look, we focused on elements such as new trim & doors, added wainscoting in the main living areas, and updated the stair banisters, fireplace doors, hearth and mantel. A soft palette of blues, greens and beiges were selected for the walls to tie in the existing cabinetry, flooring and the client's furniture.
