We created a new front yard border for this historic house. The traditional picket fence was installed to create a sense of entrance and screening from the road. The mixed border was designed to be viewed from the client’s kitchen window. It has four season interest and flowers blooming from spring until fall. We planted a pink flowering crab apple and a Stellar Pink dogwood. We installed a new fir deck and a generous brick patio to create a sense of welcome at the main entrance. We re-graded the front yard to address drainage issues and installed a new lawn.
