A young, active family hoping to update their quad level on a beautiful lake challenged me to not only update the kitchen but incorporate living space into it as well. What once was a small, sectioned off kitchen disconnected from the family room has become a wide open and airy kitchen that now shares an entire open floor plan with the family room, dining room, and foyer. Visitors enter the home to a beautiful, calm space with an gorgeous view of the lake through wall to wall windows on the back of the home and tall ceiling further emphasize the openness of the space.
