Compact Bathroom Remodel
The goal was to create a more spacious feeling and better access in this very small original bathroom in an old traditional Keene house.
Reducing the full height shower wall separating the shower from the inbuilt vanity/sink to tub height, and moving the plumbing over to the opposite wall, allows the light from the window to enter the shower area. Replacing the bulky vanity/sink combination with a sleek Kohler Veer 24" Pedestal Sink creates additional space and an open feel. A spacious Glass Shelf for storage, white Florida Tile "Streamline" 4x16" tiles, and updated lighting fixtures transform the space into an inviting bathroom. To keep the cost for the renovation as low as possible, we kept the original tub (in its original location), the 2 inbuilt wall medicine cabinets, toilet, and the heater element.
