The customer wanted privacy. I made this panel using 1" x 6" PVC bead board in a mahogany frame.

The customer wanted a new door and steps. The platform needed to be flush with the threshold, along with a low riser height on each step. The flooring is Azek Slate Gray; the railing is Azek Premier; the trim is PVC and the lattice is vinyl.

We built this originally with wood flooring and railings, then many years later installed Azek composite flooring and Azek composite railings. The floor joist run well into the house to create the cantilever.

Typical 5/4" x 6" pressure treated deck flooring that is splitting and splintering, making it much too dangerous to walk barefoot on.
