Prior to DLZ Interiors, deb . longua . zamero teamed up with MOZU Architects to design this light-filled space for Concord Music Group in Beverly Hills, CA. The project is a play with visual perception and natural light that breathes new life into a formerly dark and dank basement suite. Floor-to-ceiling glass walls and folding doors open onto the landscaped subterranean gardens. A huge mirrored wall captures exterior views and natural light, creating the illusion of a garden deep within the building. The back-lit LED feature walls displays interchangeable transparent graphic films as well as provides storage for two "vanishing" conference rooms and the custom "plug and play" furniture. Once the conference rooms are tucked away, the space transforms into a large event space for all-staff meetings and music label launch parties.
